Scott- I just got back from the Sequoias, definitely not as high as Denali, but beautiful. Wish you there. Keep up the good work and don't forget to work on your speech. Love Alison Also, my mom and dad say hello.

David called this evening (Monday 7:53 p.m.) from 14,200. He said they didn't end up going up to 16,200, as they got some snow today, so it was a "weather day."

Weather permitting they will climb the headwall to 16,200 tomorrow (Tuesday, July 4), and hope to go as far as Washburn's Thumb, which is approximately 17,000'.

They plan to camp again at 14,200 tomorrow (Tuesday) night.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!! What better way to experience freedom than this!
